The roof end result is flawless. The shingles are beautiful and the attention to detail in sealing certain areas (they noticed the chimney had moisture around the entry point) at no extra cost. Mike truly is a professional.
Job done ontime and on budget. Crew courteous and made sure no debris and nails were left behind.
All I can say is WOW!!! I contacted Mike from Powerplay Contracting to have the roof done on one of my rental units. Not only is he professional, he truly cares about the quality of his team's work and reputation. They discovered some rot over the bathroom (wasn't being vented properly from the previous owner), and immediately called me, sent me pictures, and gave me an idea of the cost to fix. Not only was the cost reasonable, it was an incredible deal! He also showed me where to make the changes in the bathroom venting, how to do it, and if I have someone what the price range should be.
I STRONGLY suggest if you are looking for your roof to be repaired or replaced and you are in the capital region, you should call Mike!
Went above and beyond what was expected, made sure not only was roof replacement done properly but help repair previous insect and water damage.
I had a few leaks in my 25ish year old roof (3 tab shingles) and Mike came in and gave me a price on what it would cost to take care of everything. This included removal, disposal, new drip edge, flashing, ice and water etc. Turns out the previous roofer on my house didn’t feel the need to use ice and water barrier or felt underneath, hence the leaks...I needed 9 new sheets of plywood which Mike accounted for in his cost calculation because of rot. I have a 27 square roof the guys showed up at 745am and finished by sun down. The work looks great and the guys work like a well oiled machine. I’m in the home improvement business so I know how things are supposed to go and I have nothing negative to say. It is a pleasure dealing with Powerplay and I will refer them consistently in the future to my customers, friends and family.
Even checked the next day to make sure nothing was missed!
Live my new roof. The workers and owner went above and beyond expectation. Just finished today and have had neighbors complementing already. My son is getting his done next week and can't wait cause he loved ours so much.
