Not only was I was impressed by all the choices they had to offer but also how clean and crisp all the displays were. Definitely not like your average Wine/Liquor stores in this area that give you a Warehouse feeling. Plus the prices were very competitive!

Never been as rudely treated. Came from out of state and was told that my state ID was invalid. Tried to explain asking him to look at the law (which I could view on my phone) and was told to leave and that he was calling the police. Given spate of police shootings of people who look like me in the news, I wasn't too eager to wait and see justice.
I didn't want to leave.
Recently while stopping by at Sand Creek Wine & Liquor for one of their Fridays Wine Tastings, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was I greeted by friendly and knowledgeable employees, I found the atmosphere to be very pleasant and relaxing.
I called the store to inquire about their scotch selection. It was my intent to purchase my husband a bottle of Johnnie Walker for his birthday, and before heading over I wanted to see if they had the label I wanted. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was beyond rude. He refused to answer any of my questions, and even accused me of attempting to get a list of inventory so I could take it to his competitors. He also said he refused to discuss pricing over the phone which I did not ask about. I simply wanted to know what labels they carried (I'm afraid I simply can't afford BLUE, but wanted the next best) before I traveled over, and I could NOT get a straight forward answer. If I'm looking for a pair of jeans advertised online by a store, I'm going to call ahead to see if they have it in stock - is that so unreasonable? What I fail to understand is how does refraining from having this conversation over the phone protect you from your supposed competitors? What's to stop me from going into your store, making a mental note of stock and prices and then going elsewhere to price compare my business? Absolutely absurd. I told the man I spoke with that I would take my business elsewhere, and so I shall.
