Love the festivities there. The Latin fest, the Tulip fest among others. A nice quiet park to relax in or take walks, or just sit and read a book. I think they have plays at the theatre outside, at least they used to. They may still do.
I absolutely love this park. I live nearby within walking distance and I love to take my dog here. They have an area where a lot of people walk their dogs around and they usually have it stocked with some little baggies to clean up after your dog. I also enjoy looking at the various statues as well as the fountain and surrounding flowers. The Boathouse is great. I recently saw that they had a production of the music man at the amphitheater there. Great place to have a quick stop for an outdoor lunch or to enjoy the park for a couple hours with friends or family. Also a nice place for quiet meditation if you just want to go for a walk. The pond is great and on the far end they are doing a little bit of construction but it is still enjoyable.
A beautiful park I went there a few months ago for a Breast cancer walk the weather was gorgeous the park itself is very clean and the perfect place to take your family for a walk in the park or to spend an afternoon with friends. I highly recommend bring a picnic lunch and spending the day here.
Beautiful park adjacent to downtown Albany in Center Square area. Pretty fountain surrounded by flowers and a nice small lake. Plays and other events frequently held outside the lake boat house where there is a stage and stadium style seating.
This is a nice park it's down town Albany NY . they have a play ground for the children a dog park . Music in the park in summer vendor's. festivals a pond with ducks. The pathways are good for walking running or jogging there are picnic table and bench's .
