Stopped in between meetings for a coffee and a quick breakfast. The food was fantastic, coffee was hot, and the staff was friendly... couldn't have been better. And I was surprised to see how many people were there for a Tuesday morning. Must be a great spot!
This is my "go to" spot for Corned Beef Hash. It is the best in the area. It is a small family run place. I love the service. I have business meetings there because they allow me to feel welcome when I tie up a table for an hour after my meal. It's clean and the food is great.
They have curly fries. The portions are large. And the food arrived quickly. The pancakes are great. One rhingvis no turkey sausage. But not a big deal.
My car was due for inspection so my husband and I decided to have lunch while the car was being serviced. The Farmer Boy Diner was close, so we stopped in. We ordered soup and burgers. The soup was chicken and rice- loaded with vegetables and plenty of rice and chicken. Quite tasty. My husband had the fried onion burger. Not to my taste, but he enjoyed it. I had the mushroom burger. It was prepared to order and arrived quickly. The cole slaw was also very good. Just the right consistency. The server was very pleasant. Quite a nice experience.
Also Jen, our server, is really very good. Farmer Boy is lucky to have her.
Had oatmeal this morning. I enjoy this oatmeal because it is made with "whole" oats. It is one of the top oatmeals in the area. There is only one improvement to be made...fill the bowl!
