Frequently attempts to deliver Amazon packages to my house to some random business and then marks it as unable to deliver because business is closed. Then I can't ever get someone on the phone who can't actually help me.
I have had so many bad experiences with this branch. Never in my life have I had more problems with the USPS than I have here in Albany. The people who work here are completely inept. They have lost my packages, delivered other people's mail to me (I'm sure they've delivered my mail to other people, but how would I know?), and I've even had a mailman harass me at my apartment. It's easy to see why the USPS is going bankrupt when you have people like this responsible for our mail and parcels. It's a disgrace.
This is easily the 6th or 7th time this has happened, and now I have to take the time out of my day tomorrow to go out of my way and go deal with the unpleasant people at the post office.
Very poor service, I never had this problem living in other areas with different post offices.
I don't know who the delivery couriers are for this office but whenever I order something (usually paying for shipping, mind you) the delivery people do not even ATTEMPT to leave the package. Today I was home all day and I was supposed to receive a package. Well, I didn't receive it. I checked the tracking status and it says there was a failed attempt to deliver. I call bullsh*t, because 1) I was home all day, 2) I left a note on the door with my signature saying that in the case I was not home to sign to please leave the package, 3) When I ordered the product I specifically marked that it did not require a signature to be left, and 4) There was no note or anything stating that there was a delivery attempt.
I often get other peoples mail which makes me wonder where my mail is going, they have failed on multiple occasions to deliver important packages, and finally it is not easy to get in contact with them to fix errors they have made.
5 stars for anyone and everyone who deserves it! I don't know how to rate otherwise.
